About You

We are looking for a skilled Graduate Energy Analyst to join our team, with a strong background in economics, finance, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Development and assessment of energy trading and hedging strategies.
  • Portfolio optimization to maximize the commercial position for clients.
  • Derivative and contract evaluation.
  • Market trend analysis and commentary.
  • Provide consultative support around energy market and commodity price information analysis, reports, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in one or more of the following disciplines: Economics, Finance, Law, Business, and/or Engineering.
  • A high level of analytical skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, with utilization of databases and coding such as Visual Basic, Python, and Java.
  • Well-honed interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
