At our organization, we are seeking a skilled professional to fill the Grants Officer role.

This position is critical and fulfilling, requiring passion for the community. You will work effectively in a team-based environment, providing effective customer service, negotiating desired outcomes, building relationships with key stakeholders, statutory authorities, and community groups.

You will be responsible for working on research, writing compelling grant applications, identifying community projects eligible for grants, developing key stakeholder relationships, securing funding for community by identifying, applying for, and managing grants.

In this rewarding role, you will have continual support and training from your manager, enjoy being part of a team, and working across multiple directorates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Holding a minimum Certificate III in Business Administration or related discipline, along with extensive experience in similar roles as a successful Grants Officer.
  • Possessing a current and valid class C driver's licence.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of cost benefits analysis, value for money, project management, and other details required within well-structured and supported grant applications.
  • Exhibiting exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrating the ability to manage time, set priorities, plan and organize one's own work to achieve set objectives in the most efficient way possible within available resources and timeframes.
  • Demonstrating the ability to work independently and a proven history of applying analytical skills to solve problems, improve methods, and productivity.
