This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team and advance the field of spine surgery. Our specialist surgeons are supported by dedicated medical, pain and rehabilitation physicians, physiotherapists, nursing and administration staff, allowing the delivery of high-quality clinical outcomes and service to patients in need of neuro-spinal care.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Performed complex orthopaedic spine surgeries, including minimally invasive spine surgery (MISS) techniques, spinal deformity surgery, and motion preservation techniques.
  • Evaluated and diagnosed patients with spinal conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Developed and implemented individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Provided preoperative and postoperative care to patients, ensuring their well-being and recovery.
  • Stayed up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthopaedic spine surgery techniques, research, and technologies.

Requirements include:

  • Medical degree from a recognized institution with Registration as a Medical Practitioner with APRHA, and Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
  • Current rights to work in Australia (Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent resident).
  • Extensive experience in performing a wide range of orthopaedic spine surgeries.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
