About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our dynamic team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing contracts and ensuring the smooth execution of projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Preparation and Management: Prepare, review, and manage contracts and subcontracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve contractual issues and ensure timely delivery of contractual obligations.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost control measures.
  • Record Keeping and Administration: Maintain accurate records of contract documents and correspondence.
  • Contract Negotiation and Administration: Support project managers in contract negotiations and administration.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management / Building, or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in contract administration within the construction industry in Australia.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of contract law and construction contracts, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
