Green Recruitment Company is working with a leading international energy company as they look to add to their Commercial team through the appointment of a Contracts & Procurement Manager.
This person will join a fast-growing and highly motivated business that is making significant strides in support of the energy transition. You will play an integral role in the successful delivery of high-value and highly complex contracts, with the support of both local and global teams.
Your Role:- Develop procurement and related contractual management methods, processes, and reporting systems to enable efficient and diligent contract management of main and subcontracts.
- Participate in negotiations with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. at the tendering and execution phases.
- Actively support the execution of main contracts, subcontracts, and supply contracts during the execution phase, ensuring all risks are managed and all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Participate in claims and dispute resolution as may be needed.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial roles with a strong bias across procurement and contract management.
- Experience managing high-value and highly complex contracts, with a strong preference for energy, infrastructure, or mining/industrial sectors.
- A genuine love of contract management and a desire to deliver successful projects in line with time, cost, and quality.
- A self-starter who works well in a team.
- Exposure to disputes and claims is beneficial.
