Delivering high-quality patient care is at the heart of our work. Our team in the Medical Assessment Unit is dedicated to providing short-term, multidisciplinary acute care for patients who require swift assessment and treatment.
The Medical Assessment Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital is designed to reduce length of stay in the Emergency Department and inpatient wards by initiating rapid assessment, diagnostics, and early treatment for complex, chronic, and non-critical medical patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration and current experience in an acute hospital environment.
Requirements- Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
- Current clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
