The 7B Medical/Surgical ward at Royal North Shore Hospital seeks a skilled Assistant in Nursing to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional support to the nursing team, contributing to a superior standard of patient care.
- Assist with critical tasks including medication administration, wound management, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Completion of a Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent qualification; or current enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1; or successful completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care).
- Prior experience in acute care settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain expertise in peritoneal and haemodialysis, pre and post renal transplant care, complex wound management, and bladder irrigation/ileal conduit management. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team providing premium patient care in a fast-paced medical setting.
