This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as an Acute Mental Health Clinician in a reputable private mental health hospital located in Sydney.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for patients with acute and chronic mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering High-Quality Care: Provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients with acute and chronic mental health needs.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred care.
- Patient Support: Support patients and their families in decision-making, advocacy, and discharge planning.
- Professional Development: Supervise and mentor ENs and AINs where required.
- Clinical Improvement: Contribute to clinical quality, safety, and improvement initiatives.
- Nursing Registration: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Mental Health Experience: Minimum of 3 years' mental health nursing experience.
- Clinical Skills: Strong clinical and risk management skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
