Environmental Geochemistry Expertise Opportunity
BHP is seeking a skilled Environmental Geochemist to join their team. This role requires expertise in geochemical risk management and closure planning.
The successful candidate will provide technical guidance on environmental geochemistry, conduct risk assessments, and develop closure plans. Strong communication and project management skills are essential for success in this position.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise on environmental geochemistry
- Conduct risk assessments and develop closure plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on geochemical hazard management
- Design and implement field trials for AMD management
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Environmental Geochemistry or related field
- At least 7-10 years of experience in environmental geochemistry
- Strong understanding of geochemical modelling, hydrogeology, and water quality predictions
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
