About the Role

At Jacobs, we're seeking a skilled Senior ITS Systems Engineer to join our ANZ team in Sydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne. As an experienced engineer, you will lead and deliver ITS projects using standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project lifecycle documents, including proposals, concept designs, and operations and maintenance documents.
  • Provide technical advice and reviews on ITS projects.
  • Develop and implement Systems Engineering Artifacts.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and communicate project risks and opportunities.
  • Lead design teams and participate in Community of Practice and employee network groups.
  • Understand local strategy and growth drivers and client issues.
Requirements
  • A relevant Tertiary Engineering Degree or similar.
  • Essential experience includes developing Detailed Design documentation, asset placement, and cross-discipline coordination.
  • Desirable experience includes developing Concept of Operations and Operational Design Reports, Systems Engineering artifacts, and traffic control signals design.
  • Strong understanding of Quality management and independent review process, compliance with local and national codes and standards, and stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Maintain Continuous Professional Development and track market trends.
