We're seeking an experienced Senior Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) Engineer to join our ANZ team in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will apply your expertise to lead and deliver ITS projects using industry standards and best practices.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare project lifecycle documents for ITS projects, including proposals, concept designs, detailed designs, and operations and maintenance documents.
  • Provide technical advice and reviews on various ITS projects.
  • Be accountable for the development and implementation of Systems Engineering Artifacts.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and communicate project risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Need:

  • A relevant tertiary engineering degree or similar.
  • Prior Australian ITS design infrastructure project experience is essential, including developing detailed design documentation, asset placement, structural & civil coordination, constructability, cross-discipline coordination, executing detailed design through the full project lifecycle, high-level capability in technical report writing, electrical, controls, or telecommunications network design.
  • Desirable experience includes developing concept of operations and operational design reports, systems engineering artifacts, traffic control signals design, road lighting design, quality management, independent review processes, stakeholder engagement, compliance with local and national codes and standards, and excellent communication skills.
