Defence Healthcare Professional

As a healthcare professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to Defence Force staff.
This includes providing primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policies, working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, assessing fitness for duty, and providing pre/post-deployment medical support.
About This RoleWe are seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity. You will work across outpatient and inpatient care settings as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver primary medical care to Defence personnel
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Assess fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical support
Requirements:
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
- FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration
- Minimum 2 years' full-time (or part-time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years
- Australian Citizen - for Baseline Security Clearance requirements
