About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aquatic Technical Operator to join our team at West HQ. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our aquatic facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the administration and practical management of our plant room
  • Contribute to delivering safe, clean, and enjoyable swimming experiences for all members and guests
  • Work closely with the Pool Operations Coordinator to ensure the effective operation of our aquatic facilities
Requirements
  • Aquatic Technical Operator experience
  • Knowledge of relevant aquatic industry codes and regulations, including RLSSA Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and Lifeguard responsibilities
  • Knowledge and understanding of swimming pool chemistry, sanitation, and filtration
  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Pool Plant/Aquatic Technical Operations Certificate
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • NSW Working with Children Check
Desirable
  • Broad industry experience
  • Royal Life Saving Approved Workplace Supervisor
  • Experience in using CRM platforms
