Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes, including steaks, seafood, and pizzas, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop innovative seasonal menus and daily specials, showcasing our culinary expertise.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards and best practices.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies, ensuring efficient kitchen management.
- Ensure consistent presentation and quality of dishes before they reach the dining area, upholding our reputation for excellence.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant environment, preferably with Italian cuisine.
- Diploma or higher in Cookery or Culinary Arts, demonstrating a strong foundation in culinary techniques and principles.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and hygiene practices, with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of teamwork and collaboration.
