Job Title:
Strategic Planning and Compliance Specialist

The Information Services Branch is comprised of four Business Units: Data Management, Freedom of Information, Information Release, and Records Management. As a key member of the team, you will provide professional support in business planning, audit and risk management, policy development and implementation, training and staff supervision.

Your responsibilities include coordinating branch planning requirements, undertaking reviews and projects, preparing or reviewing policies and proposals, conducting audits and quality assurance, and staff inductions. You will also participate in evaluation and report preparation as required.

Special Conditions:

You must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and undergo a criminal history check.You may be assigned to other duties at this level or equivalent.Some out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.You are required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, law, public administration).
  • Relevant experience in strategic planning, policy development, auditing, and training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a short-term contract position for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension or conversion to ongoing employment.
