Quality Assurance Specialist

Brownes Dairy, a leading dairy manufacturer in Australia, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for its Beverage division at our Balcatta office in Perth.

The Role

You will ensure quality systems are used in Beverage manufacturing operations to meet customer expectations and provide technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Management: Ensure manufactured products meet specifications and coordinate sensory panels to maintain product quality standards.
  2. Testing and Quality Control: Coordinate testing throughout manufacturing operations and interpret results.
  3. Product Failure Investigation: Investigate product failures and determine product destiny.
  4. Performance Feedback: Provide feedback on operation performance regarding quality parameters and supply advice for improvements.
  5. Complaint Resolution: Assist in investigating factory-related complaints and develop systems to reduce customer complaints and quality issues.
  6. Product Development Support: Support Product Development in implementing accurate specifications and ensuring agreed specifications are accurate and workable.
  7. Quality Parameters and Testing Requirements: Ensure quality parameters and testing requirements are included in specifications.

Requirements

For this role, we are looking for candidates who possess:

  1. A Tertiary qualification in Food Technology.
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in food industry Quality Assurance with HACCP and internal auditor training.
  3. Experience in HACCP implementation and trained as an internal auditor in food safety systems.
