Job Overview

This is a critical role where you will be responsible for ensuring compliance and hygiene in diverse environments with a focus on supermarket locations.

The Food Safety Specialist will conduct regular cleaning audits and inspections, complete accurate reports, and communicate improvements effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular cleaning audits and departmental inspections
  • Completing timely and accurate electronic reports
  • Documenting service activities and inspection findings
  • Communicating improvements and resolving client issues
  • Installing and maintaining equipment per specifications
  • Performing preventative maintenance and repair of non-functioning equipment
  • Supporting new store rollouts, ensuring proper training and sign-off
  • Maintaining safety data sheets and compliance protocols
  • Distributing formal and on-the-job training
  • Responding to customer requests and complaints promptly
  • Maintaining tool kits and field test kits
  • Achieving 100% compliance in monthly reporting
  • Traveling regionally as required
