ESG Strategist Role

We are seeking a highly collaborative ESG Strategist to drive and coordinate our client's ESG commitments and initiatives.

The successful candidate will contribute to and lead various elements of the development, execution, measurement and reporting of the company's ESG Strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing sustainability initiatives across the business and setting targets.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability metrics into strategic and operational planning.
  • Supporting the embedding of sustainability in organisational culture and linking it to financial performance.
  • Leading existing reporting practices using GRESB & NGER frameworks and exploring compliance with other frameworks.
  • Measuring and monitoring progress against key strategies, objectives and performance targets.
  • Representing the company on ESG matters and managing relationships with key stakeholders.

We are looking for a relationship builder, engager and executor who thrives in high-level internal and external stakeholder engagement as much as being hands-on in delivery. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of bringing the business and its customers on the journey.

Key requirements include:

  • Prior experience in a large corporate or tier 1 consultancy in a similar role.
  • Experience developing and executing an ESG strategy in a technology or infrastructure environment.
  • Demonstrated experience achieving strong ESG outcomes against recognised benchmarks.
  • Current understanding of broad ESG issues, particularly relating to data centres and tech industry.
  • Experience engaging with ESG stakeholders and demonstrating high-level written and interpersonal presentation skills.
