About the Role

The Key Learning Leader is a vital member of the Curriculum Leadership Team, driving curriculum development and implementation across all year levels. This role requires a collaborative leader who can work closely with faculty staff to ensure course documentation meets the highest standards.

This leadership position involves convening meetings of the Faculty, leading curriculum development processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver educational programs that meet College guidelines.

As part of the team, you will also participate in advising on assessment procedures, ensuring Victorian Curriculum, Australian National Curriculum, and VCAA compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the Curriculum Leadership Team and collaborate with faculty staff for effective curriculum delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain curriculum policies and practices aligned with the College's goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure they are working within established course descriptions and college curriculum guidelines.
  • Manage allocated budget effectively, reporting any variances to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with College policy regarding pastoral care, reporting, and assessment procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A teaching qualification with current VIT registration.
  • Strong administration and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of pastoral care needs in Catholic secondary schools.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • Proven experience in educational leadership and curriculum development.
