We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team at Traverse Alpine Group, a premier provider of exceptional hospitality services in scenic locations.

About the Role

As a Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering memorable dining experiences by designing innovative menus and preparing high-quality dishes. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an inspiring environment, where creativity and teamwork thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute diverse menu items that reflect seasonal and local ingredients.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and taste.
  • Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to foster skill development.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations while maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to achieve profitability.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promote unique culinary offerings.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to continually enhance the dining experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef, with a strong portfolio showcasing culinary skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage kitchen staff.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and proper kitchen sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Experience in a high-end restaurant or resort kitchen is a plus.
