Nursing and midwifery in the Northern Territory presents unique opportunities for Endorsed Enrolled Nurses with a minimum 12 months experience post qualification across various clinical areas. As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will work within the scope and practice of your role under the direct/indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and administering medication within your role boundaries and legal limitations.
Key responsibilities include working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, following service quality standards, Workplace Health and Safety policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will foster a positive workplace culture through appropriate behaviour and attitude.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Completion of an approved NMBA course in administration and monitoring of medicines and intravenous therapy
- Demonstrated understanding and ability to coordinate client care resulting in positive clinical outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated understanding of social and cultural challenges experienced by vulnerable groups/communities and the role of the nurse in supporting them
- Knowledge and application of Continuous Quality Improvement principles in a healthcare setting
