Pharmacist Opportunity in Northern Territory

Clinical pharmacy is a vital aspect of healthcare, and we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated pharmacist to join our team.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing medicines management services to correctional facilities in the Top End of the Northern Territory.

Key responsibilities include clinical review of clients charts, providing professional advice in context of correctional setting, management and distribution of medications dispensed by contracted pharmacy, and PRN medication dispensing.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am – 4:21pm at Holtze Correctional Precinct, which is approximately 25min drive from Darwin CBD, and 15min from Palmerston CBD.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent qualification
  • Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
