Logistics Operations Coordinator

About Our Client:
Our client, a leading waste recycling business in East Arm, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Logistics Officer to join their team. This is an ongoing, day shift position, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime.
About the Role:
- Ongoing work with the view to permanency
- Day shift, early starts

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating liquid waste collections to maximise route efficiency
- Administration, including managing driver hours, billing, and reporting duties across the site
- Problem-solving by responding to customer issues with a solutions-focused approach
- Responding to operational queries from the Customer Services Team, Sales Team, and customers
- Attending daily end-of-shift meetings to capture incidents or issues
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics (desirable)
- Good computer and general communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, and Salesforce (desirable)
- Attention to detail and understanding of general auditing requirements
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong people skills, including communication and negotiation
- A strong focus on health and safety
