Job Opportunity: Project Support Officer

  • High profile Federal Government Department seeks an experienced Project Support Officer to join their high performing team.

The role involves managing various inboxes and being the first point of contact for requests that need to be input or actioned. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a strong team centric approach.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Coordinate and executive support governance
  • Developing appropriate systems, procedures and controls to enhance accuracy and presentation of workflows
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as required by the Director

The successful Project Support Officer will be offered a 12-month contract partnered with a 12-month extension. The role can be based from either Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Brisbane with the ability to work a few days a week from home.

The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Coordinating and providing secretariat support ensuring the team has all required information for meetings
  • Undertaking complex research as required by the Director
  • Developing appropriate systems, procedures and controls to enhance accuracy and presentation of workflows

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Support Officer to take on a new challenge and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.
