Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Relationship FX team in the North, providing sales, advice, execution, education and transactional support to Wholesale FX Clients. As the Head of Relationship FX, you will oversee a team of dealers and be responsible for delivering effective relationship and execution coverage for the Wholesale FX customer base.

You will work closely with Wholesale execution dealers to identify opportunities and expand the business through delivering to those opportunities with existing customers, and with new to Financial Markets opportunities.

The role requires leading the team to grow the business in their region, while ensuring effective collaboration with other regions of Relationship FX dealers and the Digital and Direct dealers. You will also ensure relevant stakeholders are managed appropriately, have supervisory responsibilities for all team members, ensuring compliance principles are met, and deliver the financial performance of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of dealers to provide effective relationship and execution coverage for the Wholesale FX customer base.
  • Work closely with Wholesale execution dealers to identify opportunities and expand the business.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the business in the region.
  • Ensure effective collaboration with other regions of Relationship FX dealers and the Digital and Direct dealers.
  • Manage relevant stakeholders and have supervisory responsibilities for all team members.
  • Ensure compliance principles are met and deliver the financial performance of the team.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Financial Markets with demonstrated experience in leading a team of dealers to grow a foreign exchange business covering Wholesale clients.
  • Exceptional understanding of FX products, deal systems and advanced principles of FX risk management.
  • Ability to build effective teams and strong relationships and has a history of effectively influencing others and managing conflict.
  • Effective self-regulation and motivation, ability to operate autonomously, managing the output volume and quality for their team and themselves.
  • Proven ability to deliver the best possible results for the organisation; and shows determination, resourcefulness and a sense of purpose in achieving this.
