About the Role:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Asset Valuer to provide expert valuation advice and undertake complex, urgent and sensitive valuations for compulsory acquisition purposes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and supporting valuations for government agencies, providing strategic advice on compulsory acquisition, procuring external valuations, contributing to policy development, resolving disputes, and promoting cultural safety within the valuation process.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Hold Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) status and membership with the Australian Property Institute (API).
  • Have knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Valuation of Land Act 1960, Land Acquisition and Compensation Act 1986, and Planning and Environment Act 1987.
  • Understand land administration matters and quality management systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 certification.
