Expert Sleep Scientist Required

We are seeking an expert Sleep Scientist to join our team at Northern Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and suitably experienced professional to contribute to the development of our innovative Sleep Medicine Service.

  • Provide scientific leadership to junior scientists within the Sleep Medicine Service
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Sleep Laboratory, including the CPAP clinic
  • Assist with the ongoing development and conduct of an effective quality assurance program, including achieving and maintaining ASA/NATA accreditation

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scientific leadership to junior scientists
  • Day-to-day laboratory operations
  • Quality assurance program management

As a Sleep Scientist, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team to develop and implement cutting-edge sleep medicine services. You will be responsible for providing scientific leadership to junior scientists, supporting laboratory operations, and managing quality assurance programs.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Previous knowledge and experience across a broad range of sleep physiological measurements
  • Leadership abilities with a focus on operational excellence and team collaboration
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
