Job Summary

The Property Management Assistant role is a key stepping stone to becoming a Property Manager. A crucial aspect of this position is effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and workload efficiently to complete numerous diverse tasks daily. This role also requires a high degree of accuracy and documentation of activities undertaken. The property management assistant will need to follow direction from the property manager, senior property manager, and business development manager (Client Services Manager) to perform duties with care while adhering to office procedures and routines.

Key Requirements
  • A valid Real Estate Certificate of Registration or willingness to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
  • A current NSW Drivers Licence.
  • Personal vehicle ownership for work-related purposes.
Job Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the rent roll and integrating new properties into the business.
  • Collaborating with the property manager, senior property manager, and client services manager to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services to owners and tenants in property management.
  • Ensuring properties are maintained in accordance with owner instructions under supervising staff guidance.
  • Upkeep of all necessary records, including leases, MAA incoming/outgoing condition reports, etc.
  • Arranging online advertising as required.
  • Handling maintenance issues, including obtaining quotes and confirming jobs with tradespeople, and liaising with SPM regarding property repairs and maintenance.
  • Assisting with tenant selection.
  • Providing property information and assistance to tenants upon request.
Estimated Salary Range:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
