We offer an exciting opportunity to tackle complex technical challenges in the counterdrone sector, serving diverse clients including militaries, government agencies, airports, critical infrastructure, law enforcement, and others.

We are part of a large defense company listed on the ASX200 index, experiencing hypergrowth driven by increasing drone use for malicious purposes. Our Sydney headquarters hosts approximately 380 staff across a 4,000sqm facility, with plans to expand to around 500 staff by the end of 2026. We have international presence through our offices in Virginia, Netherlands, Denmark, Mexico, and Dubai, as well as distributors globally.

This role will report directly to the General Counsel, ensuring that legal frameworks keep pace with our growth, safeguarding our interests, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance across our global operations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and review contracts, including technology, engineering, manufacturing, and procurement agreements.
  • Assist with legal matters related to intellectual property, export controls, and employment law.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies like ACMA, ASIC, ASX, and DEC.
  • Support corporate policy development and maintenance.
  • Conduct legal due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
