This role is responsible for ensuring the uptime, safety, and readiness of our Australian test sites and demo equipment. This includes planning and executing maintenance activities, performing sensor calibrations, software updates, and functional checks.
The successful candidate will have a background in networking, Linux, telecommunications, and electronics, with practical hands-on skills in hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
They will also have experience in equipment inspection, quality checks, and light repair activities, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working directly with customers.
- Maintain site infrastructure, ensure weatherproofing, cable management, and corrosion control.
- Monitor and manage batteries, UPS, generators, and solar systems.
This position involves working closely with various teams, including Test & Evaluation, Engineering, Drone Operations, and Field Service Engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience in defence, aerospace, or security systems, familiarity with RF systems, sensors, or networked technologies, and previous exposure to customer demonstrations, trials, or training delivery.
