Job Description
The role of Strategic Commercial Leader is responsible for managing and running the Commercial team to deliver cost management services across multiple projects in Queensland.
You will work effectively as part of a cost management team, ensuring all deliverables are met, and perform cost planning and cost estimating duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Measurement of quantities based on design drawings
- Responsible for pre-contract cost planning services during design stages of projects
- Integrate with full cost management and project management teams in Queensland and support when required
- Work independently and take responsibility for deliverables
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- MAIQS / MRICS certification advantageous
- Consultancy environment work experience desirable
- Proficient in the use of CostX
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking, and resilience to deal with a fast-paced environment
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently
