Electromagnetic Field Mapping Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled research fellow to develop innovative methods for mapping and measuring electromagnetic fields inside materials via scanning transmission electron microscopy.
The successful candidate will collaborate with an associate professor to design new theoretical and computational tools for quantifying electromagnetic field distributions at the atomic scale.
This project will build upon recent advancements in inverse scattering methods, including ptychography, and may involve the use of iterative algorithms, machine learning, and high-performance computing.
Through our state-of-the-art facility, opportunities exist to acquire large experimental datasets using fast-readout electron detectors to validate the developed methods.
