Production Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to Team Leads for all projects allocated. This includes liaising with allied departments to ensure work packs and materials are processed efficiently, allowing Team Leads to focus on direct supervision of the production workforce.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Pre-vetting of work packs prior to scheduled start date
  • Arranging accurate material picking in line with project schedules and work pack start dates
  • Auditing work packs upon completion of tasks and closing out unused materials and completed work packs
  • Accurate data entry and maintaining suitable data integrity in an ERP system
  • Driving process improvement initiatives while working with structured processes and procedures
  • Demonstrating technical research skills and sound organisational skills
  • Working in a team environment with limited supervision and delivering results under pressure

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a production or stores-based environment
  • Exposure to one or more disciplines (production, planning, scheduling, estimating, supply/contract administration, warehousing)
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and written, coupled with accurate data entry
  • Demonstrated experience in working with structured processes and procedures
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision and deliver results under pressure
  • Experience in the use of an ERP system
