We are seeking a talented and proactive individual to join our team as a Corporate Receptionist and Facilities Assistant. This role would suit a graduate or entry-level candidate looking to develop their skills in administration and facilities management.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Corporate Receptionist and Facilities Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Greeting and welcoming visitors with a positive and professional demeanor
- Managing incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate department or individual
- Providing administrative support to various departments as needed
- Maintaining all external meeting rooms, waiting areas, and staff breakout areas
- Managing maintenance with contractors for all office plants
- Scheduling routine maintenance with contractors
- Communicating with suppliers and contractors as directed
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a receptionist, ideally 1 year
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
- Completion of an administration or business support course would be beneficial
- An interest in facilities as a potential career path
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn
- Experience using a task management system (e.g. Jira), highly desired
