We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Optimization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing sales, stock, and profitability in the Women's Apparel department through meticulous planning, forecasting, and analysis.

About the Role
  • You will assist in developing seasonal class plans for sales, OTB, markdowns, GP, stocks, and weeks cover.
  • Conduct post-seasonal analysis and recommend sales forecasts and initiatives.
  • Maintain item flows and optimize inventory levels for key items.
  • Collaborate with Designers on size, colour, and product analysis.
  • Review store gridding and allocate stock based on sales data and customer demographics.
  • Prepare and present weekly trading meetings with comprehensive reporting and analysis.
  • Liaise with State Managers on store needs and stock opportunities.
  • Support in managing updates to range plans and monthly forecast reviews.
  • Assist in managing orders, quantification adjustments, and size ratio analysis.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in allocation or merchandise planning within a retail environment is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities are necessary.
  • You must be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detailed oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
