Job Description:

The Forecast Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of sales and inventory plans executed within our systems. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Merchandise Planners to optimize inventory levels and achieve financial KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business strategies into actionable inputs for our inventory systems.
  • Leverage analytics through reporting and system experts to derive commercially viable opportunities.
  • Owning merchandise relationships, driving enhancements in forecast accuracy through root cause analysis, and ensuring continuous improvement throughout the planning function.
  • Support the business through improved forecasts and accurate reporting, presenting insights to key stakeholders both commercial and operational, and influencing decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Retail and/or FMCG experience is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders in decision-making is crucial.
  • Validating and interpreting demand planning outputs for accurate forecasts is a key requirement.
  • Collaboration within a team environment is necessary.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail, are required.
  • Delivering results autonomously, within pre-determined guardrails, is essential.
  • Strong Excel knowledge is necessary.
  • Proven ability to execute action plan deliverables in a timely manner is required.
