About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Infinite Aged Care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, leading a small team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our National and Regional Hotels Service Team to create and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and nutrition.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food safety processes are in place and maintained, and that our kitchen meets the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a small team of chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food and beverage services.
  • Resident Feedback: Actively seek feedback from our residents to improve our food and nutritional operations and ensure that their needs are met.
  • Collaboration: Partner with our community education providers to offer student placements and VET programs.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or Higher: Hold a Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cookery.
  • Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid Food Safety Supervisors certificate.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a culinary leader, with a passion for creating exceptional food and a track record of success in leading teams.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
