Mott MacDonald is a leading engineering, management and development consultancy that drives growth in the Sydney market through innovative projects. Our commercial team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Technical Director) to support the delivery of our committed work.

The role will focus on supporting Mott MacDonald and partner teams on design and construction delivery in growing energy, water, and defence infrastructure. You will be joining a diverse team of project delivery consultants who work alongside our design teams, passionate about delivering high-quality projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic, technical, and commercial advice to inform decision-making at various phases of a transport, health, or education project
  • Managing client relationships and providing strategic, technical, and commercial advice across project lifecycle phases
  • Developing client contract packages for various elements of project delivery
  • Developing and implementing detailed project plans to achieve key objectives, including scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards
  • Managing internal and external project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes

As a senior member of the team, you will have experience in complex infrastructure project management, ideally both as a client-side and client-facing PM. Practical experience in project development, design, construction, safety management, environmental approvals, procurement, and contract management is essential.
