Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PCS Engineer to join our team at Technical Resources. As a Lead PCS Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of PCS engineers in delivering PLC/SCADA systems for Greenfield mine sites, from architecture, design, standards development, deployment, testing & commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of PCS engineers in the design, development, and implementation of PLC/SCADA systems for Greenfield mine sites.
  • Develop and maintain high-level documentation, including functional specifications and test documents.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management personnel to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project costs, schedules, and quality requirements to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in PCS engineering, including Schneider electric EcoStruxure Plant Control Expert, Schnider M580 PLC platform, and Aveva PlantSCADA.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in PCS engineering, with a strong background in PLC/SCADA systems.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and delivering projects.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to develop and maintain high-level documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex PCS engineering issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
