About This Role

We are seeking an experienced support professional to join our team. As a valued member of staff, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our participants.

This is a casual position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work varying shifts. You will be responsible for providing personal care and support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily living tasks, medication management, and meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living tasks such as personal grooming and hygiene
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with disabilities
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Prepare meals and snacks for participants

Requirements:

  1. Hold a minimum of a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  3. Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively
  4. Basic understanding of mental health principles
  5. Experience working with mental health clients (desirable)
  6. Current Working with Children card (Blue card)
  7. NDIS Worker Screening check (Yellow Card)
  8. Current CPR and First Aid Certificates
  9. Current Police Check
  10. Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  11. Driver's License
  12. Registered personal vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
