About the business and the role
Advanced Sheetmetal is one of Melbourne's leading providers of flashing and rainwater goods, roof ventilation products and general sheetmetal work in Clayton Victoria.
Job tasks and responsibilities
This stable company has an immediate opening for an experienced qualified sheetmetal fabricator to manufacture rainwater goods and sheetmetal products. This position is 6am to 1.30pm with occasional overtime.
This is a Full Time permanent position, with top wages and conditions. Wage dependent of experience. To be considered for this exciting role you will have experience with light gauge sheetmetal fabrication or in a similar industry.
Skills and experience
The ideal person must:
- Have a trade qualification as a sheetmetal fabricator / 1st class sheetmetal fabricator
- Be a confident fabricator who can read shop drawings and understand design
- Have a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable and a team player
- Welding experience
- Work with minimal supervision
Desirable but not essential
- Experience in the plumbing or building industry
- Experience producing roofing products
- Forklift license
