Job OverviewWe currently have an opportunity for a Customer Facing MR Driver to join our team and assist in the servicing and expansion of our business. This role involves driving a manual truck within the Melbourne CBD 5 days a week, delivering and collecting our famously recognisable orange recycling bins in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a manual truck within the Melbourne CBD 5 days a week.
- Establish and maintain outstanding relationships with customers.
- Delivery and collection of our orange recycling bins.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Perform and record daily vehicle inspections ensuring ongoing safety.
This position comes with a base salary of $60,000 per annum, plus 14.19% superannuation, and annual leave loading of 27.64%. Additionally, you will earn seven (7) hours of guaranteed overtime every week, paid at 150% of the base rate, as well as a $4,000 Annual Performance Bonus (paid quarterly). You will also receive a $150 tax-free allowance per day for overnight runs, employee assistance program, birthday vouchers and celebrations, continued learning and development opportunities, great shopping discounts, employee reward and recognition program, and company uniform supplied.
Requirements- 1+ years manual truck driving experience.
- Experience navigating around the Melbourne CBD.
- Courier type, multi pick up/drop experience strongly regarded.
- Valid manual medium rigid (MR) truck license with a good driver history record.
- Strong customer focus.
