Job Overview

As a data insights manager, you will lead analytics projects that deliver strategic business value. You will drive the development of advanced insights by guiding a team of talented professionals.

This role is critical to driving future growth and success. You will be the connector between data, engineering, and business, helping shape our enterprise data platform and championing a culture of innovation through machine learning and predictive analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced analytics projects that drive business impact, including segmentation, forecasting, optimisation, and AI-powered recommendations.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, helping unlock value through data science and machine learning.
  • Champion predictive and prescriptive analytics across the organisation, introducing innovative approaches and technologies.
  • Coach and develop a high-performing data insights team, fostering growth beyond operational reporting into advanced analytics.
  • Partner with business units to identify opportunities and deliver data-driven solutions tailored to real-world challenges.
  • Shape the enterprise data platform to support scalable data science use cases and enable future innovation.

Requirements:

  • Advanced tertiary study and matched experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or a related field.
  • Seasoned professional with deep experience in data science and analytical roles, with demonstrated success in influencing business outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, R or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Solid understanding and experience of experimental design, statistical inference, predictive modelling, and machine learning.
  • Proven track record of delivering insights that have led to measurable business improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to executive audiences.
