Role Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service and be proactive in identifying and mitigating security risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing strong customer service solutions to visitors, contractors, and clients
  • Landside security duties, patrols, and maintenance reporting if required
  • Carparking duties - patrols, count equipment checks, issue infringements
  • Gatehouse duties
  • Proactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems
  • Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risks
  • Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification
  • Providing support to tenants and facilities
  • Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management
  • Responding to emergency situations
  • Contractor management duties
Requirements
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
  • Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends)
  • Australian citizen or hold unlimited work rights
  • Previous experience in corporate real estate contracts (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports
  • Demonstrated ability in the use of computers and security-related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft programmes)
  • Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods
  • Valid QLD security license (including monitoring subclass)
  • Crowd control endorsement will be highly desirable
  • Current first aid & CPR certificate

Salary Estimate
