**Position Purpose**:
Certis Security Australia currently has an opportunity for a qualified security officer with a minimum Negative Vetting 1 clearance to perform high-level concierge security services for one of our government clients. This is a full time position located in the Brisbane CBD, consisting of a Monday to Friday roster, and 10-hour shifts. Opportunities like this are rare in the industry. In addition, the successful applicant will also be entitled to a $4500.00 bonus paid out at intervals with 12 months of service. This opportunity is only open to current NV1 Clearance or Higher Security Officers.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Security Officer Level 3 works above and beyond the skills of an employee at Levels 1 and 2,and to the level of their skills, competence and training.
- Works from complex instructions and procedures under limited supervision.
- Exercises good interpersonal and communications skills.
- Exercises computer skills at a level higher than Level 2.
- Assists in the provision of on-the-job training.
- Exercises discretion within the scope of this classification level; and performs work independently under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment.

Indicative of the tasks that an employee at this level may be required to perform are the following:

- Monitor and operate, under supervision, building operation systems terminating at a visual display unit or computerized printout, including the monitoring of complex fire alarms, water towers or chillers, temperatures and other similar building operational system functions.
- Provide safety induction to employees, contractors or visitors to a site; and
- Monitor and act on walk-through electromagnetic detectors, or monitor, interpret and act on screen images using x-ray imaging or observation equipment, including in or in connection with airport security zones.

**Qualification**:
**Mandatory**
- Relevant QLD Security Licence with Unarmed, Crowd Control, and Monitoring Licence functions
- Current First aid Certificate with CPR
- Transferable Negative Vetting 1 or higher clearance
- Due to the nature of the position you must be an Australian Citizen

**Attribute**:

- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Intermediate computer skills in the use Microsoft Office suite
- High-Level Presentation
