About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Coordinator to join our People and Performance team on a part-time, 12-month fixed-term basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to talent development and offboarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within our People Platform, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Prepare and issue people-related documentation, including letters of offer and changes to employment terms and conditions.
  • Provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on people-related policies and procedures, ensuring effective application of our Just and Fair Culture.
  • Collaborate with various industry bodies to stay updated on best practices and provide valuable data for research purposes.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in Human Resources coordination and administration, including use of Human Resource Information Systems.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use discretion and sound judgment in dealing with issues, including escalation when required.
  • Capacity to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply legislation, awards, and agreements as they relate to employment.
