Diagnostic Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join our molecular pathology team. The successful candidate will gain experience primarily in diagnostic medical laboratory techniques.

About the Role

The role involves performing a range of diagnostic medical laboratory techniques, including those relevant to microbiology, molecular microbiology, or molecular genetics.

You will be responsible for upholding quality standards within the laboratory by adhering to departmental quality system procedures and complying with occupational health and safety policies and programs.

Satisfying customer requirements through reliable and efficient service levels is also essential.

In addition, you will have opportunities to train other staff members as required.

Maintaining professional self-development through attendance at scientific meetings, reviewing scientific journals, and preparing continuing education presentations at staff meetings is also encouraged.

Requirements

  • Possesses good communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
