The Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information that influences business performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, including company scorecards and management accounts, with variance analysis.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Oversight: Take ownership of AP and AR, ensuring timely processing, collections, and ledger accuracy.
  • Tax and Compliance: Ensure statutory obligations are met and coordinate with external accountants on annual financial statements.
  • Forecasting and Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare cash flow forecasts as required.
  • Process Improvement: Champion strong internal controls and identify opportunities to improve systems and procedures.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion).
  • Proven experience in a similar financial accounting role.
  • Exceptional technical accounting skills, including advanced Excel capabilities and proficiency with financial systems.
  • A solid understanding of accounting standards and tax compliance.
  • A high degree of analytical capability and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
