Job Summary:
The Australian Energy Market Operator is seeking a Commercial Regulatory Expert to provide expert advice on commercial and regulatory matters.
- Independently work on default and suspension events under the market rules.
- Develop internal guidance and procedures to support best practice operations.
- Risk report and regulatory report writing.
- Investigate potential non-compliance with market regulations.
- Represent AEMO positions at industry forums.
- Align and execute internal operational processes according to market rules.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on commercial and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with market rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- Mandatory minimum degree qualification in relevant discipline.
- Strong related work experience in the energy industry.
- Strong written interpretation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating in a legal, compliance, and rules-based setting.
