Senior Compliance Advisor - Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Advisor to join our team and play a key role in shaping our compliance strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and expertise to drive business growth while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective compliance programs across various business units;
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements, legislation, and industry standards;
  • Analyze complex regulatory frameworks and identify areas for improvement;
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create and implement strong risk-based controls;
  • Monitor and report on compliance performance using KPIs, dashboards, and reports;
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, law, regulation, or relevant discipline;
  • Strong understanding of energy market regulations, including gas markets and wholesale electricity markets;
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs;
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  • Regulatory engagement experience, including liaising with regulatory authorities and preparing formal submissions;
  • Experience with project leadership, risk assessments, and monitoring and reporting;
